Maine Marijuana Providers Expanding

Over the recent years Maine’s medical marijuana market has grown significantly. To keep up with the pace, Maine’s medical marijuana providers are expanding their operations to accommodate the growth.

One provider in specific is significantly expanding. The Wellness Connection of Maine is increasing the size of its Auburn growing facility from 20,000 to 87,000 square feet.

Currently, Wellness Connection has about 10,000 medical marijuana patients at its four dispensaries around the state. But the Auburn expansion is expected to add 100 temporary jobs and 15 permanent jobs to the Lewiston and Auburn area.
